Dental Implants Full-Arch Fixed
Full-Arch Fixed Implants

A complete set of permanent teeth. In one day.

Full-arch fixed implants (also called All-on-4® or All-on-X) replace every tooth on an arch with a permanent, non-removable prosthesis anchored to just four to six strategically placed implants. Walk in with failing or missing teeth. Walk out with a full, functional smile.

What it is

4–6 implants. A full arch. Permanent.

Full-arch fixed implants work by anchoring a complete set of prosthetic teeth to just four or six strategically placed titanium implants. The angled placement allows even patients with reduced bone density to be treated without extensive grafting in most cases.

Unlike dentures, the result is screwed into the implants — it does not come out. You eat, laugh, and sleep with it in place, exactly like natural teeth. The prosthesis is crafted in our on-site lab for a personalized fit and natural appearance.

Why choose full-arch fixed

The most life-changing dental procedure available.

Patients who've lived with dentures or multiple missing teeth call this transformative. Here's what sets it apart.

Teeth the same day

A provisional set of teeth is attached to your implants on surgery day. You leave the practice with a full smile — not a gap, not a denture.

Permanently fixed

Nothing comes out. No soaking at night, no adhesive, no slipping while eating. The prosthesis is your teeth now — full stop.

Bone stimulated & preserved

The implants function as tooth roots, preventing the jawbone shrinkage that denture-wearers experience over time — and which changes the shape of your face.

Eat virtually anything

Full-arch fixed implants restore close to 100% of normal bite force. Steak, apples, corn on the cob — nothing is off limits once you've fully healed.

Natural aesthetics

Our on-site lab designs your prosthesis from scratch — shape, shade, and size — so the result looks like your best natural smile, not a generic set.

Confidence restored

Patients consistently report a dramatic shift in self-confidence — they smile freely, speak without hesitation, and stop avoiding social situations because of their teeth.

The process

From consultation to final smile

01

Planning & imaging

We take a 3D CBCT scan to assess bone volume and map implant positions with precision. Dr. Caputo designs your prosthesis virtually before surgery begins — you see the outcome before we start.

02

Surgery & same-day teeth

Four to six implants are placed in a single surgery session. A provisional fixed prosthesis is attached the same day — you leave with a full smile. Recovery is manageable with prescribed medications and a soft diet for 6–8 weeks.

03

Final zirconia prosthesis

After 4–6 months of osseointegration, the provisional is replaced with your custom, permanent zirconia prosthesis — crafted in our on-site lab for perfect fit, function, and beauty.

Dr. Caputo explaining full-arch implant plan to patient
Who is this for?

For anyone who wants to stop managing failing teeth.

Full-arch fixed is the right choice for patients who are missing all or most of their teeth, wearing removable dentures they're unhappy with, or dealing with severely failing teeth that require full extraction. We evaluate:

All or most teeth missing on one or both arches
Current denture wearers seeking a fixed alternative
Failing, infected, or severely broken-down teeth
Sufficient bone or ability to receive bone grafting

Most patients qualify. Even those with significant bone loss are often candidates — the angled implant technique reduces or eliminates the need for extensive grafting in many cases.

I hid my smile for years. Dr. Caputo gave me a full set of fixed teeth — I cried in the mirror that night. I can eat anything now and I haven't stopped smiling since.

FAQ

Common questions

Will I really have teeth the same day as surgery?

Yes. A temporary but fully functional fixed prosthesis is placed on the implants the same day as surgery. It's not your final set — the permanent zirconia prosthesis comes after healing — but you leave with teeth that look good and function well.

What's the difference between All-on-4 and full-arch fixed?

"Full-arch fixed" is the category; All-on-4® is one branded protocol that uses exactly four implants per arch. We use the technique that's right for your specific anatomy — sometimes 4, sometimes 5 or 6 implants. The outcome is the same: a fixed, complete arch of teeth.

Is the surgery painful?

Surgery is performed under local anesthesia; you won't feel pain during the procedure. Post-surgical discomfort is manageable with prescription medication. Most patients are surprised it's less intense than they expected. Swelling typically peaks around day 2–3 and resolves within a week or two.

How long is recovery?

Most patients return to normal activity within a week. A soft diet is required for 6–8 weeks while the implants integrate. The full healing period — until the permanent prosthesis is placed — is 4–6 months, but your provisional keeps you fully functional throughout.

What does full-arch fixed cost?

A single arch typically ranges from $18,000–$28,000 depending on your anatomy, number of implants, and whether extractions are needed. We provide a complete, itemized treatment plan at no cost. Financing is available with low monthly payments — many patients find it comparable to what they'd spend on ongoing dental work trying to save failing teeth.

How do I clean fixed implants?

You brush normally along and under the prosthesis bridge twice daily. A water flosser is the most effective way to clean beneath the bridge where floss can't easily reach. We do in-office professional cleanings every 6 months using specialized instruments safe for your prosthesis.

Stop managing teeth. Start living with them.
